My old Gran was an avid fan of 60s tv wrestling,.Mick McManus, Les Kellet, Big Daddy Jackie Pallo and all…that’s how I remember Adrian Street,.I used to watch it with her as a young kid.
I used to go in a pub regular while parked up in Stockport early 90s,.I recognised the landlord, a cockney guy ex wrestler …Steve Haggerty.
I got to know him quite well, and he told me a few stories of the time.
