Remove the plastic strip and metal clip, and replace with key ring to hook tightly around mic at back of case.
Ken.
Thanks for that Ken ive ordered two
thats a good idea.
In order to make sure the mic doesn’t fall off the new key ring, make sure it’s a snug fit, but not too snug that you can’t rotate the mic around once it’s on. Open the key ring out slightly using force if necessary. I would guess a pair of long nosed circlip pliers would help. The other end on the spool (The spring.) should slot over any flat upright surface and bingo.
Not used one myself, but I knew what you meant when you posted the question, and E.Bay was my friend.
A pic once installed would be nice.
Ken.
What a waste of money
us intellegent drivers buy a 50 cent bungee and hook it to the mike then the other end to a high point in the middle of the cab, about 90% of us use the bungee, the special devices with a little spring operated coil (like you ordered) is considered an idiot toy. and a waste of money.
i was gonna say i always use a bungee does the job fine

Cheers Pat; I broke my mic clip yesterday but Ive got a spare bungee cord in the garage…
I could also point out that both bungee and the spring loaded device last about the same time before failing so take the least expensive one.
For £2.50p each its not breaking the bank is it

brilliant

We used to annoy the local taxi drivers by swearing so their fares would hear…and annoy some coffin dodgers who’d go on about yours magazine, radio times, dementia etc…
