Just wanted to let you all know I got my licence back from Warks police this morning, 3 points and a £60.00 fine.
I’m chuffed to bits to say the least,
Thanks for all those who offered support
and to those who didn’t
Time to relax now, It’s been a tense couple of months.

Time to relax now,
Not too much or you’ll go over the speed limit again
ROG:
Then you will have 6 points on the licence not 12.
Was I correct
You are correct Rog, I now have 6 points, And I don’t intend getting anymore.
You say A5 near MIRA.
which way where you heading as towards Atherstone is 50.
On the single lane dual carriageway.
It was set up wrongly for a week or so at 40 (for trucks).

I was heading towards Nuneaton away from the M42, the camera is just before the A444 junction.

Are those horizontal lines a clue to the whereabouts of this camera?

Are those horizontal lines a clue to the whereabouts of this camera?
I saw the lines, knew the camera was there and have camera warnings on my tomtom that are updated every week.
Lack of attention I suppose, Lucky escape this time.

Shame.
Next time you may kill a child or even run into the back of a car carrying a family.
Good Luck
So jimbo.
A truck doing 45+ on a 50 limit. surely he can see a car broken down or stranded at that speed?
That (s)camera is a cash machine.
I have been cuaght at 44 mph and others at 43 to 45.
Now tell me what happens to the southern irish truck that went through it at 50+■■ (in car speedo reading 55)

A safe speed can very often be different to a legal speed amd unless actually there at the time a determination on that point cannot be made.

Well he can`t see a speed camera/cash machine thats yellow. Has a tomtom warning going of in his ear.

I got caught doing 47mph on a single carrigeway A5 Nuneaton by the A444 last week.
That camera must make millions a year I know at least five that have been caught on it, trouble is you only have to be following the flow of traffic at 45mph and the buggers got you in a truck.
