i rest my case im not the only one to have noticed theres no slip road so jog on
There is a temporary road sign saying to leave at junction one to get to M1 northbound but it is easily missed, looking on google maps it is the A426 that you’re looking for and that will take you to the next M1 junction. I’m not sure why everybody is getting so angry about in this thead, do drivers scream at each other in real life when you discuss what route to take? I don’t think so.
no they sit in rdcs filling each othere with sxxt

Never been a slip road from M6 Catthorpe to M1 north
While there has never been a direct free flowing link from the M6 to the M1 north it was still accessible back in the day if you went down to the Island at Catthorpe. Now there’s no access at all. Which is a good thing because as it’s already been stated several times, it’s unnecessary no matter which direction you’re coming from.
And there lays the problem i dont now the direction i coming from but thanks any way
Luckily you don’t drive.
i did but can’t find me lorry

What I want to know is can I still nip through cathorpe village from the A5 to the m1 in my pick up went it’s all done ?
No. When the works are finished there will be no publicly accessible links between the local roads and the Motorways/A14. You’ll have to go North or South on the A5/A426 to J20 or J18 to join the M1.
