I have a job currently but only on the category C license for the mo.
Just booked up my C+E training, does anybody know if/when I do get the extra license category if this automatically costs them more money, Insurance or otherwise?
Last thing I want is to gain the extra license and then be too expensive to keep on.
There are no automatic extra costs just because you will have passed CE. Don’t try for more money driving C. But you should expect more money if driving CE. But in this current climate, don’t use your new licence as a stick to beat your employer with!

Should be no probs as you are currently cat C
But if you are paying for c+e yourself, don’t be a monkey by letting your boss take advantage of that - if he wants to use your C+E pass.
