I have used Derrick Hackworthy (big wheelers) for both my category C and CE license. Derricks tuition is second to none, I passed both tests first time and would recommend anyone looking for lgv tuition to give big wheelers a call. I was travelling from Honiton everyday just for Derrick and his professionalism. The man is patient and make feel relax. Recommended

i have met Gerry but mine was Rob for my C1 and Tony for my C2. I heard that the old school examiners used to fail you for selecting a wrong gear. Bit hard

Only if that wrong gear selection caused an issue

Select wrong gear and immediately realise it then correct it without causing an issue is not a fail

I did my C+E with Derrick back when he used to work for him himself. Nice chap and good instructor.
