cat crossing

saw something that cheered me up today, approached a pedestrian crossing only to see a grey and white tabby cat actually use the crossing, never seen that before as I stopped to let it cross,i started laughing about it then a woman driver coming the other way saw what the cat did and started laughing as well, unbelivable, the only problem was the cat did not even say thanks,no manners these cats

Cheeky little blighters aren’t they.

They have catitude…

.

Good job you stopped, could have been a CATastrophe. Were you thinking of the kittens?

You would have thought it would have pawsed to say thank you, perhaps it wasn’t feline to great and wanted to get home.
Did you turn your engine off while you waited or was it purring away.

My Mrs cat was of a ripe old age , one day it disapeared, he did that now and again so thought nothing of it really , after a day or so we started looking , asked around but nothing , thought maybe he’d gone somewhere too peg it , after a few days I dropped into vet thinking maybe he’d been injured and brought in ( Mrs was getting really upset ) , ■■■■■■■ desk said was he black with white belly and red collar  , yes I think we’ve got him , he was found in gonerby area with his rear legs collapsed , I wish you’d come on earlier as we couldn’t do anything so he’s been put down :frowning: :frowning: , do you want him to bury  , yea think Mrs would like him buried in the garden .
So off she goes and commes back with a black bin bag with a frozen cat in it ( never did open in too see if it was ours ) , so I takes it out and puts in boot ( thinking if I get stopped on way home this is going too take some explaining :frowning: .
Gets home and tell Mrs I’ve found her cat  , he was at the vets  , but they put him down as they couldn’t do anything :astonished: , and he was now in my boot , frozen and on a black bag and where do you want him burying :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:
Never had a pet since , and I don’t think she’s really ever forgave me for bringing her cat home frozen and in a black bag

Did the cat wear a hiviz ?

Good job he wasn’t Lion across the road or you’d still be there.

If you run one over and you’re not feline nice, just drive on.

I can top that. The other day in KFC I saw a man eating chicken…

A neighbour buried their ginger cat in the garden that had been killed by a car in the street. Walking back to the house their own ginger cat was sat on the doorstep watching the action.
