Cat C next week

Hey all,

Hope everyone’s training is going well. My cat C training starts next Friday with PSTT, I do wonder if it would be cancelled if there is snow? or if it would be a great chance to get some training in the worst conditions!

Just a random question; does anyone have any (RECENT) experience working for Turners? I’d just like to know there ‘Training Rate of Pay’. Because I may for example gain my cat C with PSTT then train for my CE with Turners (as they offer training). I’m not one to worry about pay rate if I enjoy the job but when you’ve got bills to pay, you can’t be living on ■■■■■■ money.

Hi. We carry on training unless the trainer considers it unsafe. Come test day, the decision is the examiners. They check that kerbs and road markings are visible and will adjust routes to make it happen. But it is a fact that tests are sometimes cancelled due to snow.

But be positive- maybe the sun will come out!!
