starting 3 days agency work driving a 17.5t. I have one slight problem I have never used a digital tachograph before and I need to find a basic set of instructions of what to do and when
someone help please as I don’t want to look like a complete idiot tomorrow!!

Also have a look on youtube, loads of good info there.
Be careful as well if the tacho is the new version 1.4 then manual entries are slightly different.
If you have never used you card they sometimes spit your card out on the first attempt saying card error. (Don’t know why)
Just put it back in again and it will work second time.
Thanks everyone for your help everyone I have printed off instructions and will take them with me and if I’m stuck I will ask, most of the other drivers I’m sure will help with pointers

Had the day from hell
Got lost twice and weather was horrendous

Tacho work alright?
Yeah tachograph went ok I was a bit confused but one of the other drivers was great saw me a bit lost and gave me crash course. Still some very decent people out there willing to take 5mins to help
