I passed my class 1 last month but didn’t send off for my licence as I needed it to do my cpc which I did yesterday. However, I’ve just noticed that the examiner has put the wrong category on my practical test certificate… He’s put category B!
Starting to panic slightly as I have an interview on Monday for my first class one job and I’m not sure if they will accept the test paper as proof that I’ve got the licence??
The training school is going to speak to another examiner tomorrow and see what he suggests I do but just really concerned that this screw up is gonna cost me the job on Monday.
As an official legal document I suspect it will need to be voided and replaced by the correct one and will probably need to be done either by the original examiner or a chief examiner
I’m sure that they’ll change it as the reg no of the vehicle will also be on it as well as the examiner details plus your driver number can be used against the booking details held for the test.
Hopefully it will be a fairly quick and painless thing to sort but in the other hand, no government departmenr are well known for taking the easy route when it comes to administration.
As for the interview, just explain to them whats been explained to us and I can’t see any employer having an issue with that.
