U have done 3 x 15 hour shifts for the week.
After your weekly rest period u will have another 3 x 15 hour shifts to use.
You reduced your breaks on Tue We’d and Thu, Friday you had a split break but you have (ignoring Friday) used all three available reduced breaks therefore you need a minimum of 11 hours off tonight and cannot exceed 13 hours working time tomorrow (Saturday)
Bet your WTD times are a hoot!
the maoster:
… cannot exceed 13 hours working time tomorrow (Saturday)…
Duty time
Sorry
runs and hides
ps i knew what you meant but im pedantic like that
Fair point. It’s been a long week. Not as long as Dozys, but still long.

Saturday could be a ‘15 hour day’ if you managed to get a minimum 3 hour rest at some point during the shift to give you a split rest but … No - you cannot carry over the 3 hour split from a previous shift.
just what I didn’t want to hear , well somehow I’m going to have to be tipped and get my reload and out of Glasgow by 12 or I’ll not get back , but thanks all
Well we busted a got ( drove like a loony ) to get here to get tipped , only too find the crane that’s lifting my crane parts off is broke ( or so I’m told ), not looking good
Feel for ya mate.
See if you can drop the trailer where its going to be unloaded whilst the crane is being repaired and get 3 hours off to cover yourself.
If the cranes fixed quick no worries but if you can split and get her on break/rest your giving yourself options.
You could be lookin at being weekended so make sure you tell em 3 hours off is required or your leaving the trailer and doing one.
Ring planner to tell em the crack see if they can help out, might be one of your lot in the area you can swap trailers with.
Oh and do not drive like a loony, just give her full thrust when possible safe to do so.
Just noticed the post times hope your on the way back by now.
Yea on way back Dave , crane wasn’t long , think it was crane operator and new crane to him problem, got tipped fairly quick , couple of our lads were at my re- load so mucked in and helped me get strapped up
, got 1/2 hrtoo spare , so hopefully not tempting fate should do it before 8 , whatever happened too giving you a sensible last day
Apologies too anyone I’ve cut up etc but I’ve no time too spare to be ■■■■■ footing about , poor old truck it’s getting flogged too death these days
A split rest doesn’t count as a resdiced daily rest so although you’ve done 3 15s the splits count as full daily rests. The saturday has to be a 13 unless you can split it.This is stuff you should have to your head around by now if you haven’t you really need to start to. And you must have a minimum 3 hrs on break in one block ie 3 hr break then nine off.
If there planning you that amount every day TELL them you. Don’t have the hrs to do the job. They have enough trucks to cover contingences
Just goes to prove how Stobrats over work people. Those are the kind of weeks I had on containers man years ago. Thank god I don’t do them now.
