Carryfast has Struck OIL

I wondered why the “Hero of Leatherhead” has been a bit a bit quiet lately but now I know,he has been digging in his vast back garden and has struck the biggest oil and gas find ever in the UK,that Scotch bird has no chance now,we’ll put “CF” up against her and she will get put in her place good and proper eh! " My Oil field is bigger that yours" etc. Now that would really be a debate worth watching,it would make the ones televised so far look like a bye election !! I can well imagine Leatherhead becoming the “new” Aberdeen and the whole place reverberating with the sound of DD enginged “Big Rigs”     Bewick.

hiya you ve missed him Bewick hes been on the professional drivers site i think he was shouting about detroit 2 stroke
engines been the best of something similar…you know Berwick i remember seeing your lorries up and down. i even
remember Carryfast lorries ([zb] green and blue) but not many of the ERF at carryfast used was Detriot specials.

Blimey no thanks they can zb off. We’ll be over run with foreign oil companies tearing up what remains of our countryside etc just to keep the Germans supplied with oil while they take all the money. While at the same time telling us we can’t use our own oil and coal because of global warming. :unamused: :imp:

Having said that we might just let them drill on the Sussex and Kent borders just so long as we declare independence and keep it all for ourselves.Only to be sold at Venezuelan prices to the local population and haulage operators who can show Wessex nationality. :smiling_imp:

I suppose we’ll get the usual ■■■■ from the NIMBY’s!

Carryfast will have his own tanker to follow his “plumbers nightmare” around :imp: :imp: . Regards Kev.

There again, he could just have broke into one of the oil storage tanks at Heathrow?

I know that’s what I’ve told them numerous times. The Detroit specials were fire trucks. While to be fair ‘the old firm’ did ‘eventually’ realise that the best place for a Gardner was as a yard shunter or even better the scrap yard and luckily for me that wasn’t long after I’d started. :smiling_imp:

While they were never Green and Blue. But the Green and White arguably looked better than the old Blue and Silver/Grey.

Bearing in mind that the rest of the country has already tried to turn the best farm land region in the UK,in terms of land and climate, into a dumping ground for the country’s urbanisation and transport infrastructure needs, while other parts of the country remain an under developed wilderness, those ‘placard writers’ do have a point.Although ironically they did fight harder to keep the Kent coal mines open than the Norvernors did theirs.

Carryfast, your constant criticism of the north south divide would have folk thinking that you are a racist bigot

To be fair there’s no problem just so long as they all stay on their own side of the Thames. :smiling_imp:
