Can anyone please give me any info on the above company, what are they like to work for, pay rates, shift patterns etc.
Thanks
Anybody know anything about these?
Any information from anyone?
Good equipment, lots of auction work but also now does new vehicle contracts too. Can’t tell you about pay as I don’t work there.
I’ve downloaded the application form so any new information would help. Fancy doing this side of things, my mrs has told me to just do it to get it out my system.

Thats no longer the case with most transporter operators (Ford’s own excepted), quite the opposite there’s a shortage, but also a shortage of suitable applicants.
I haven’t worked for Carlson but they seem to retain drivers so must be doing something right.

Interesting, I gave them a tinkle before I gave up & they weren’t interested…

It probably is…oh well, leave it to you guys/girls to deliver the goods for us[emoji16]
My dad has worked for Carlsons for the past couple of years. Seems happy with it. He’s on 4 nights out a week, lots of auctions and new car deliveries. They do a lot of JLR work to Southampton. Good kit 100% legal, own truck and good wage if you work for it. They look after their good drivers so if you get on and work hard expect them to not let you go. My dad has handed his notice in twice now and both times they have convinced him to stay. Think he will be there till he retires now.
My Brother works there and a few mates, good money, Brother is on the Southampton trunk, take home is £590 for 5 nights, day man is near the same but has to back load and deliver on the way back mainly 2 drops but gets his lorry loaded by the night man.they are taking on, new lorry every year on the trunk.
