Pain in the arse are those things when you have a tilt or a euroliner, just trying to keep up, especially when they use 2 machines
anyone still loading beer out of the St Omar brewary? I use to load there about 7 years ago great big folklifts 4 pallets of beer at a time only open 1 side 6 lifts and loaded (5 n half if you count the 2 up against the headboard first)
Try tipping a beer tank in there. My friend was in there yesterday for a 12:00hrs delivery and came out at 21:00hrs and then was told when he got back to immingham this morning told he had a 14:00hrs delivery today. Last I knew still in there
Do they fill the Bottles manuell from Tank
A little off topic, but I’ve noticed new Merc Axors on their trunking, are they on demo, or Nobby’s new units?

What are they doing ? Putting it on a piece at a time.
Thats ridiculous.
Work to rule go slow won’t help either,if anything could well possibly ■■■■ the job up,including theirs.
they still load at the brewery in northampton with 4 pallets at a time, so can’t see them dragging that for a hour and a half!!!. don’t think carlsberg’s regional sites are happy about nobbies as they had one of theres wait outside gravelly park this morning. don’t think he had the option of dropping and swopping trailers
jonboy
Has anyone heard anything about DHL taking over Morrisons old Swindon RDC for Carlsberg?

everytime i been there they done it 2 at a time
As it is they might as well get on with it and negotiate pay if need be.Bet they would be unhappier getting a p45.
They aren’t the only brewery/brewery transport company in the UK seeking to cut costs and try to stay up in the current economic climate.
The downside of that is people will, not might, will lose jobs.

are we talking the brewery or distribution centre, because i’m off to carlsberg at tingley on monday. also another brewer is doing the tetleys cask for them, which is tanked in from northampton
The one at Tingley is still there, as my missus used to work in the block next door between the depot and Real Radio, which is now vacant.
I pass the depot most days, and when I came home last night, it was still there.
Ken.
Carlsberg shut the Leeds brewery not Nobbies, as to why ask Carlsberg,
Tingley is staying as an RDC, as is Gravely and Golbourne.
Quite funny as not long after Leeds Brewery shut there was a fire down at the other Brewery and we brewed Carsberg to sell to Carlsberg
