Had a drop in Carlisle this morning and the road in A69 was a sorry sight to see skips every where and people whole household items in front gardens even the odd Christmas tree
Poor sods
Same sights repeated across the county, not many places escaped unscathed! 
You think it’s bad now, you should see it without the flooding! At least all the gardens look the same now!

. I’ve worked with and been good friends with a fair few ■■■■■■■■ folk over the years and to a man they’ve all had the ability to laugh at themselves and take the ■■■■ with the best of 'em. Hopefully their humour will be one of the things that gets them through this terrible time. Make no mistake, they WILL get through it.
We’re in the process of cleaning up after the floods and we’ve got blizzards forecast for the weekend - we must have upset someone upstairs!
A lot of locals have all mucked in to help each other, like a community spirit, …but on the other hand, and the down side, some of the Carlisle minority pond life fraternity have been looting.

Why do these pond life exist? If it’s not bad enough having your house and belongings wrecked, some ■■■■■■ also thinks it’s OK to go and help himself to what’s left.

Yeh, I live out of Carlisle and fairly high up, so the boots are fine.
I live up a hill in West ■■■■■■■■ those at the bottom of the hill suffered some flooding.
