Saw one of his southbound on the M1 yesterday. Nice looking outfit, guards red with gold lettering although I think he used to run in different colours? Nice to see he’s still going and hasn’t succumbed to the curse of appearing in T&D! Only got a quick glance so not sure but it looked like a low rider MAN unit so is he doing over the water? Can anybody tell me more about him, just curious as I remember him from the magazine article.
I believe his motors spend more time over the water than they do here?

Used to do a lot of German stuff , based in Cannock . Dlote will be able to tell you more I imagine as his Dad knows them well IIRC .

I seen 4-5 heading southbound on m1 the other Sunday all dafs thow and they wernt all nice and shiny his mans seem to all look nice thow well the ones I’ve seen
My mates dad is on for these, from the conversation I’ve had with him he spends most his time in Germany or Belgium. He drives a low ride daf SSC, was showing me pictures and every picture he was on the back of a wrecker 
His trucks always used to look nice, gone down hill a bit of late. I tipped in his yard in cannock thay seemed ok it was the owner on the forklift. Think he has a few east europeans on for him now
They do a bit to swiss, you always see them in capellen on a Monday morning then at planzers Monday afternoon.

Small bloke only about 5 foot tall, supports Wolves & smokes like a chimney.
