Drove past their yard today to see it empty and for sale, has anyone got any info on what happened?
found this vid on youtube so seems they’ve sold everything and shut up shop?
Always thought about applying there as they did lots of Euro work and one of my mates dads worked there, some nice low ride motors too.
Judging by their accounts they went bust

gaffer was an absolute prick,expecting drivers to take out trucks that was"nt fit for the road,all looked good from the outside but nothing was done by the book so vosa had this ■■■■■■■■■ firm on their radar just feel sorry for the drivers who stuck by him

Heard the same a few times. And know the gaffer lived up to your view (prick) first hand, certainly a few years back.
A mate drove for them about 10 years ago and if you even ask him about the boss now it takes him about 5 minutes to stop swearing.
I’m sure I’ve seen Brogan DAF and matching trailer in the last couple of weeks. It surprised me cos I’d heard they went bust, so thought it unusual to see a unit and a trailer together (I.e often auctioned to different buyers).
interesting to hear and maybe a good thing they’ve gone bump then. My mates Dad drove for them up until a few years ago when he moved to America. He never said anything about the gaffer being a prick just he was never in the UK (mainly Germany I think)
all the pictures he showed me of his DAF SSC it was on the back of a wrecker so the maintenance thing I can certainly believe

no idea fella, I’ve always known them as carl J brogans but then I’m only 23 so can’t go too far back
