Career move back to the industry

I am wanting a change of career and having all my licences and ADR as well from my time in the military where I worked as a driver, however I have been working in the oil industry for the past 20months and now I am seriously considering getting back into driving HGVs for a living, I enjoy being out on the road and travelling. Firstly I need to get my CPC. But I am wondering if anyone here knows of any companies in Scotland who are busy and taking on or any agencies to contact? Based in east Scotland by Dundee, willing to work nights out so therefore willing to travel to work to then be away for nights at a time. Also would be interested in International side of work as well. Any help or advice.

Thanks

Try and go around the agenies in Dundee like Key personnel, Pertempts etc. You will get a varied amount of work and could lead to full time job. also try and go around the haulage companies personally and ask for 5 nuns of time. You have a lot of companies on your doorstep. Even Alan Davie Duntrune/Forfar. Brewsters Forfar. Aad haulage Forfar etc. I myself am in the oil industry (20 year) but had Hgv 1 in background and done a bit in the past. I have just completed my cpc and away to do a little work as fed up with Industry. Good luck.
