I’m guessing this is one of V40LLY’s many profiles…
He only come on here during half term when him mum has taken his crayons away as he keeps eating them!
So you wouldn’t change a thing eh Ash?
How about stop driving VANS and use that Class 1 of yours?
He has to find himself something else to keep him occupied then!
so thought I would resurrect this old thread of mine a its just over a year since I started it and the search for a new career. I have just accepted a job offer with bidvest (3663) and have gone through as many threads as I can find on bidvest or 3663. I know its going to be hard work but im up for it and going to treat it as part of my workout routine
The whole process has taken me longer than I thought! with the so called driver demand so high I didnt think it would be so hard to get an interview let alone a full time contract offer! Once I get into an office for an interview I think I come across fairly well but its just getting in there thats the hard bit! I had to apply for jobs on a daily basis, loads of no return or knock backs due to experience. Let downs by agencies that faked jobs just to get me to sign up. Practical test brought more nerves up than i thought and nearly ruined it for myself but luckily I did alright. Just for anyone following the post its not easy but its possible. I have yet to experience the real stuff but the road to it can be found in this whole post. The single best thing I did was find this forum! everyone has been amazing help whether they think im mad or not to get into it! I think this forum will be even more use as I go on! Many many thanks to ALL of you that helped me out with your honesty, if anything it has set me up the best I can expect to be prior to actually doing the job. I am wary as I have read the 3663 posts or similar companies and getting all my drops done as a newbie who will be slower is a concern but I need to man up, pull my finger out and push on!!
If I ever meet any of you I owe you a bacon butty and a brew! I will keep the post open and updated as I experience my first few weeks and so on in the interest of any newbies looking around. thanks again everyone!!
Ohh dear you are in for a shock, all i can say is best of luck pal I remember when you first started and was getting your licences ect, bless you. Drop me a pm mate if you have any questions regarding the god awful 3663 that I wouldn’t touch with a barge pole! But with experience it cant be sniffed at!
