Cardiff Gate load theft

Myself and a colleague parked up there overnight. My load and trailer was untouched as I managed to bury my back doors up against a tree so they couldn’t open and also parked in the arc of the floodlights but three pallets of pressure washers disappeared out of his.

Take care when parking up and most of all stay safe.

I doubt another truck driver would’ve nicked em as most drivers seem to be allergic to using a pressure washer

Given the tightness of the bays at Cardiff Gate I’m surprised that anyone could nick a tin of beans out of a trailer let alone three pallets of pressure washers.

Highlights the need for improved security at MSA’s though, given the amount of money they make from overnight parking the lack of theft deterrents at most is an absolute disgrace.

First question, were they in a curtain??

If so why,
I know we shouldn’t have to, but to many light fingered people about, if it’s in a box, fridge, etc makes it difficult.

Ironic thing is the cleaning devices were probably stolen by some filthy caravan dwelling low life’s [emoji35][emoji57]

So glad the stuff I carry is worthless to anybody but the customer. Means I can park anywhere and open my curtains to display my ‘worthless’ consignment to the scum bags.

They slashed my curtains there weeks ago. Luckily it was about 15cm only. They had a look and didn’t like it.

Yes they were but they were lifted out the back doors. You can tell by the footprints.

At the back of the lorry area there’s an embankment which leads right through to a country lane no more than ten yards away. Of course there’s no fence etc
