Might be a good time to get a ■■■■■ hot deal on a used motor considering if they’ve gone into administration, remember when Rover went ■■■■ up, they had loads of stock sold on the cheap

They had a whole airport full of cars they couldn’t sell. Literally all along the runways and taxi-ways, miles and miles of undriven Rovers.

Reading about Carcraft in Enfield, it reminded me of that dealer near Park Royal that still sells Rovers. The owner’s a genius, he sells junk for a fortune. I saw a Rover 25 there about six months ago, wanted more than £3k for it. He’s either a great salesman or there are a lot of window lickers with car licenses in West London.
What happened to Yes Car Credit? I remember then being caught out on Watchdog…
Good riddance they have or did have a truly awful reputation in Newport pressure sales tactics and rip off interest rates were their stock in trade.
I understand they own bottom book shysters webuyanycar.com
Yep good riddance, I’ve never bought a car from them and would never. They were nothing but a load of hard sell pushy salesman who didn’t give a rats arse about you and only ever wanted your money. They preyed on people who know nothing of the value of cars and can’t be bothered to sort out their own tax/insurance and the motor trade is better off without them.

I remember the pictures on the news, the cars were
10 years out of date due to under investment it sadly was only a matter of time, we still build some of the best cars in the world, Toyota Nissan and so on, nothing with a British badge on the front, or not British owned anymore.

The majority of the stock will be bought on dealer financing and therefore owned by the finance companies such as Black Horse. They’ll probably end up going through auctions.

Exactly the reason Powerhouse went down the plughole ten years or so ago – rather than just selling you a washing machine, they’d insist on selling you a HP deal which cost you more, and people would just walk out of the shop rather than stand up to them.
