Advertised in local paper, I can’t help with pay etc.
maybe useful to somebody

There is a member on here who works for them. They have been around a long time and the caravan and motorhome manufacturers of Hull seem to go from strength to strength, as one drops by the wayside, another one grows its business. I think Swift have just won a massive sales order for motorhomes, statics and tourers.

I’d be interested if they would let me bring the truck home at the weekend. I’ll have to ask.

bit out of date is that - what was wrong with 7.5 C1 LGV ?

DO you night out in the caravans?

no its better in the lorry, mostly you are empty if you are out for the night

I used to do that when I was bringing in Tabberts from Germany many years ago, but I only had a day cab Fiat. You just had to make sure you got to the factory before it closed, otherwise it was an uncomfortable night

Mate did caravan deliveries for Skeltons. Far easier than portacabins but some of the places he was expected to get to were ridiculous. Lots of small parks in places like the lake district down single track lanes with tight corners, high banks and entrances that left you wincing as you turned in.

He got quite fat doing it suggesting that it wasn’t that hard graft.

I would love a job doing that. Wish there was someone nearby doing caravan or trailer deliveries.
