That busy checking the cars forgot to carry out checks on their testing equipment, going to cost in the region of 20 to 30 grand to put in each new scissor lift. Not a good day for DVSA classic case of do as I say but not as I do
its no biggy.
im booked in for next fri and you will either get a letter of extension/exemption or not.
not all the ramps are faulty and taxis will take priority.
if you dont get a letter cancelling you,then just arrive at the allocated time,and itl get done,or rejected with a letter.
bearing in mind its only test centres that can do mot here and not your normal garages then normally you can wait 3 or 4 weeks between booking your can in to be getting the 1st available test date,so theres never been the same drama for running about with no mot.
