3rd.

I’d agree with NFU being number 1, superb customer service via local offices staffed by coherant competent staff and simply unbeatable in the event of a claim, but, at one hell of a premium price now which i can no longer justify.

Trouble with insurance is that apart from LV (which takes the title for incompetence) none of them have any trouble taking your money, its how they behave in the event of a claim thats important, which leads me to ask how these rankings are made up…is it claim performance or how funky their website is or how nice they are on the phone when applying or how easily they took your money.

I’ve just renewed both car & motorbike…separately.
Car with Privilege £230 after a phone call to get it down to ‘new customer’ premium(got my renewal notice at £337, so did a GoCompare & same company came out £230!!!). - Result.
Bike…wait for it £73.03 with Devitts/Zenith - Result!!! Both car & bike covered for £300.

It’s grand being old(er) - sometimes!!!

What about the 17 year old lad’s quote in newspaper this week, I think it was for a Corsa £1.2million - or they’d accept £106,000 per month!!! Jeeez!!! HaHa!!

yeah they said it’s their way of declining insurance, so when he is asked have you ever been declined insurance he can say no. They know that no one is gonna buy it lol

Paying £950 on a remapped Mini Cooper s at 20 with an ‘incident’ on record. That’s with elephant , no one else got close to that price

Who cares? You get fleeced anyway and the stock answer is always ‘your policy doesn’t cover that’ line.

Just get it as cheap as poss. Worry about right or wrong or blame when you need to.
