Seen this on the news last night couldn’t believe it.
My son just bought one of these street lifters for his business, I’ve sent him the link to the video.
If that’s not being unloaded outside a breakers yard it soon will be
I think the Astra stood up to that surprisingly well, maybe a new exhaust but looks like he might even have avoided crunching that. I expected to see a pile of parts in the road.
Article in the Daily Mail about it and looks like he got away with it. Police not interested as they say it’s a civil matter, so no criminal offence committed, and he can’t be traced at the moment.

Was it dangerous though? He simply reversed a vehicle while the road behind him was clear, luckily it was also clear underneath him.
It does say in the article that they can’t link the car to the owner as the registered owner is not the guy driving it.
That was in East london? What happen to the English language in that video then?
Just couldn’t believe someone would actually do this to avoid paying a fine! Unfortunately that laungauge is the norm for me living in north London.

They can’t trace him? He isn’t the registered keeper? Think there’s more to this than just avoiding a parking fine.
Brilliant
interesting to see the more realistic comments from u tube though?
the astras worth £150 on a good day. no doubt it wont have insurance, tax,or mot as its extremely common for this to be happening.itl be registered in a name that reads like an eye chart so nothing to lose.then do a runner…
