Whoops.

Don’t see much smashed , even part of rig which would have hit bridge first looks remarkably straight :open_mouth:

Has he pulled up , having realised & local rag is making mountain out of molehill ?

Looks like he has got to the bridge, looked at it and thought, nah.

In the meantime someone has put 2+2 together and got a headline.

Now now, we all know the rules. According to the press, we don’t ‘drive’ through villages, we ‘thunder’ through them. Same as when we have an accident, no matter how minor, it’s always a ‘smash’.

Quote from the comments section…

“This plum spent a few hours going back and forwards through Chartham Hatch last night waking everybody up at 1am too!”

Not been his best ever couple of days has it.

Kent is notoriously difficult off the beaten track, it’s like the county that time forgot in certain areas.

I never read any of the local rags, be it online or in print. They specialise in turning total trivia into ‘the world is gonna end’ stories.
