It really beggars belief
Summary: Bicycle break-checked lorry, bicycle lost. Protesters want police to stop the lorries so they can safely carry out their protest on the road before the lorries are allowed to continue. Only feelings were hurt that day.
My opinion - driver was a dimwit for giving them more free ammo.
The bloke on the bike is just a bloody idiot … plain and simple !! I remember the protests at Shoreham, was sitting in the pub with a couple of lads off the ship I had and a few of the loonies came in and we got talking and told one of them that we were waiting to join the cattle boat, We got escorted back to our ship by the police for our own safety they said …
“Ms” Folan, 34.
"There are lots of police there, but the police allow people to be in the road - there’s no intervention to prevent someone from getting hit by a vehicle.
Tells you all you need to know about this situation.
Brain dead jeffing morons. Driver going about his/her lawful business, earning a living, and the cops allow these half wits to block a road and do what this ■■■■ on the bike did. Even the soppy cow filming it said she stopped being in the road because it was dangerous!
That bike was cattle, sorry sheep trucked.
Protesting about the amount of time the animals are kept in the truck and then they want to stop it to take pictures priceless

FTFY.
Yellow numberplate, left hand drive truck, cyclist bang in the middle of the blindspot but too ■■■■■■ stupid to realise its a left ■■■■■■.
What’s plod doing in the foreground about halfway through, looks like they are hanging onto someone else?
And why cant people film these things in landscape instead of portrait?

Exactly this, campaigning for quicker journey times yet causing a further delay… yea well done…
Does anyone ask the drivers if they want to be stopped and force fed two minutes of misguided drivel.
I reckon I’d want to run over that annoying little effer also…complete ■■■■ whit.
The Police should have arrested him.
Think of the delays that driver would have had, and when he would have eventually got back to Holland…even if he didn’t end up on a manslaughter charge.
Pricks like that are a danger to themselves and everybody around em.

Cant we protest about the amount of time we are kept in a truck
Campaigner Claire Folan, from Thanet, managed to film the incident.
She said: "I think the thought that went through my head was, ‘am I going to see someone die today?’
“I honestly believe it’s only a matter of time - someone will die at that port.”
Well, you know the answer you silly ■■■■
So the police condone this thuggish behaviour yet will arrest 3 noisy blokes running down the high street from pub to pub.
The driver wanted to warn the cyclist but knows it’s illegal to blow his horn before 7am

wtf is happening to our country theese liberal dossers want locking up simple
He doesn’t actually hit the cyclist or the bike; the guy rides in front of him and ditches the bike right under the bumper.
Camera helpfully looks away at the right time.
This feels like a setup - keep exporting and we’ll frame your drivers for attempted murder.
I’m sure the driver knew where the cyclist was the whole time.

Exactly. Total numpties
Well in the village where I reside , We have a Cafe in the shopping area, These cyclists invade us , They use our local car parks , Remove their cycles from their cars , Visit the Cafe usualy just for a ■■■■, They block entry to the local shops, Its like walking through a Mace sometimes, Whats wrong with these folk on wheels they think they own the road IMO, Its time the law was changed & enforce Health & Saftey into these cyclists, They think they own the roads & the footpaths, Plus they dont pay Road Fund Tax, Regards Larry.

Totally agree.
Why do some cyclists believe it’s ok to ride through a red light? Why don’t any of them ever get prosecuted? If you’re on the road you abide by all the rules of the road, not cherry pick the ones that suit your mood.
