Well, usual happens. I get back from the Saturday run with Morissons Willow Green. Check the list for Sunday contractors. No name. Ask if I am cancelled and was advised that I was NEVER on the list sent through from ADR (again).
Spoke with the guy on the end of the phone later when I got home, checked the lists ADR sent through, nope, not on there. Yet Thursday I was given the times for Saturday and Sunday by the Bristol office of ADR. Guy said on hand over Sunday he would get the guy concerned to call me. Result? Not a damned thing.
I have always found the Bristol ADR office totally unprofessional, plus never liked having to sign that ‘rip you off all ways’ contract for PAYE or not get used.
Does anyone know of an agency that actually does it’s job and puts you on the list to the client?
I had multiple problems like this when I used to run out of the Yate RDC.
I accept cancellations always happen but at least would like to know that I was even in with a chance of a drive before hand.
I have been trying to get a driving assessment for tesco from ADR at Bristol and am still waiting. It’s been 2 months since signing up and no contact. I have rang them 3 times and they just say they will ring you back. Grrr
Only recently some full time jobs were posted here in Bristol area, might have been Samworths?, can’t remember now.
This treatment is standard agency dry shafting, they don’t deserve decent drivers any of them, if you left cancelling your shift till the last minute you’d never hear the end of it and they would punish you.
get full time as soon as poss and let them starve, soonest best.
