The reason- Run out of diesel, cheaper to fill up in the UK at that time

I didn’t take any photo’s when I was driving for McKellars, don’t know why really, too young to think about it I suppose
Would be nice if anyone had any photo’s around 89-92 though, which is when I was there
my dad had a ex mckellar motor 4x2 scania 143 reg n151 bhk, also iv’e heard that he has his own musium of trucks rumour has it he has my dads old scania 112 in there
For years Mckellar had an old Vabis we used to use to yard shunt! He parked it up eventually and used one of his old 141’s. When i left in 94 he still had both
motors & they were in great condition!
Would be great to know if Mckellar still has em now
i know he has a couple which he is doing up for shows not sure which ones but will ask junes when he is back from spain
