Pal off to Spain on a run, had a silly one in uk where he over ran on dt, no mega biggie, vosa wouldn’t care much & small if any fine, but hes known pals get silly fines over small stuff in Spain & thinks if you get done for it here & punished then the spaniels can’t then do you for the offence?

the week before,they said as you are now in France you must pay…
140 euros later they said I could go.
What would happen if for example you committed an hours offence in the UK, drove through France, got fined for that offence by the Gendarmes then continued to Spain, got pulled there and were expected to pay again?
I assume that you’d keep any records of a fine with you to produce and hopefully stop this?
If that is the case would it not be a good idea to print off in advance a DVSA headed piece of paper and merely “fill in” your own official looking fine if you knew you had committed an hours offence even before you set off? Or wouldn’t that work?
