As said on many other posts, its my fault I’m hunting!! (but I do have a very personal reason as to why, which as I’ve said before I’m not gonna share on a public forum, but all I’ll say is, we have one family and for me blood will always be thicker than lifes water so that’s that, but it’s well in hand now, as is my head, well to a point [emoji16])
Gonna see how this possible move pans out, other party is, well, dragging their heels so again I’m at someone else’s mercy ffs lol, but I’ve schools to think about, transfer of work for the mrs, we all know the scores so I can’t just bosh it.
One thing I know is i just don’t feel I’m gonna succeed aiming into the pool of general haulage for the chain gangs anymore, it’s overflowing ffs and to be honest I just ain’t cut out for the likes of tesco, asda, I’m waaaay too rouge for that life, I need to be Stimulated…[emoji16]

Nah, I need to find either a solid owner opp outfit that understands I want to learn but I want my own ‘clean space’ to do so in, someone like Charles Bronson be ideal [emoji16]
Or get into something specialist like the dream of heavy haulage, or crane work, that’d be me made then.
I’ve been hunting in the livestock game, looking at the Irish frosty boxes and well into Europe… anything that can give me the learning an challenges I need as i thrive on variety so that’s what I need to find if I’m gonna try an drive again, but it’s heavy haulage or a sorted owner opp.

Aldi have always used contractors to meet peaks in demand on store deliveries, small company near me has Aldi trailers in their yard.
Aldi is self tip, either by contractor or Aldi own drivers delivering to stores. From what I’ve been told the driver has to put product in specific locations eg chiller, freezer, on nights I believe it’s a lone worker tip, but these have been reduced due to security fears.
Was chatting to a Stobbies today. He said he was one of only four out of fifty applications that were taken on three months ago.
