Can they pull you

after looking at my passport, i noticed on the inside of the front cover it says:

‘Her Britannic Majesty’s Secretary of State requests and requires in the name of Her Majesty all those whom it may concern to allow the bearer to pass freely without let or hindrance and to afford the bearer such assistance and protection as may be necessary.’

so with this in mind. can customs legally pull you in? can vosa delay your journey? can the police stop and search you?
is there a legitamate legal argument that will prevent them from stopping you?

Phil I would have thought if anybody could have answered your question having challenged the authorities it would have been you

I would have thought the answer is no, unless your an SAS truck driver on his way to China, but I am sure we will get someone who fits that description will come on and give you the answer

The clue is in the title of customs… HMRC = HER MAJESTY’S REVENUE AND CUSTOMS they act on behalf of the crown, as do English Constabularies.

Her Maj giveth, her maj taketh away

would you believe i’ve only just noticed it.
but, i’ll be putting it to them.

as long as your keepin it legal■■? slimey

i can’t, i set off with legal intentions, then an ingrained habitual reaction happens.
arrest is an occupational hazard.

u can show them your passport but i dont think it will get u too far. worth a try tho? let us know how u get on?

So does this mean if you are sent to prison you can show your passport and pass freely through the gates ■■?

as daft as it sounds. they let known terrorists walk freely around the uk due to the human rights act, so you couldn’t rule it out.
