Can someone PLEASE settle an argument!

if I work:

Mon 07:00-22:00 (OW+Driving+Breaks)

Tues 09:00-22:00 (OW+Driving+Breaks)

Does the daily rest period between 22:00 and 09:00 (11 hours) qualify as regular or reduced?

I believe that it is reduced (only 9 hours completed by 07:00 Tues, 24 hours after starting work on Monday).

REDUCED - you are correct in saying that it was only 9 in the 24 period.

If it was not then a driver could do a 24 hour day and follow it with a 9 hour break :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Thanks Rog, I knew was right  , but it’s thrown a spanner in a spreadsheet I’m working on, time to revise some formulae  .

:bulb: can you use each row in the sheet as a 24 hour period

errr, its really by day with start & finish times(even if the finish time rolls over to the following day) then everything else is worked out from them, it’s got a tad complicated (so it can be user friendly), but it’s a bug that can be rectified fairly easily since it’s still a work in progress.

an Easy rule of thumb if your shift goes over 13 hrs then your oa reduced daily rest unless you’ve had 3 solid hrs off during the shift then it beomes a split daily rest easy really
