How much either way you’re allowed at tescos. I’m due in Goole at 1pm but stuck in Scunny.
Normally half an hour either side
they make it up as they go along. I’ve been 3 hours late before and 2 hours early and been fine. then I’ve been 35 mins late and been refused, depends on direction of the wind.
It all depends if a run is instantly available at whatever “new” time you now turn up. If there’s nowt for a while, 'cos they given your run to the other guy standing there beforehand, then you’re going to be refused. Otherwise, with plenty of runs on hand around the clock, you can turn up freely.
I’ve been known to be 4 hours early (misunderstanding of start time at agency) and 3.5 hours late (breakdown on the way in) and was just booked on at whatever time I eventually got there…
I was told I was late once, I was 15 minutes early by my watch, so I said its booked in for 6pm and its only quarter to !! He replied “yeah 6pm two days ago” well he made a phonecall and then gave me a bay
Depends if they actually want the stuff too, they started QC rejecting perfectly good product rather than adjust thier order, particularly at Avonmouth
Whenever I’m late I simply apologise and tell them I would have been on time but I got stuck behind one of their trucks! It usually does the trick.

Who lets the recipient reject pefectly good stuff on the back of the wagon?
One of our drivers arrived at Chepstow Tesco on 14.5 hours working on Toms in Hereford (Now stopped) Explained his time, they would not let him, so he dropped the trailer at the front gate and said, “I,ll be back in 11 hours !” LOL.
