Can resident of England take test in Northern Ireland?

I’m a resident of England, and have already taken my medical, theory test and hazard perception test in England.

However, I’ve found a firm I’d like to use to take my Cat C test, based in Northern Ireland.

Is there anything stopping me from taking my test over there? Would it be just as valid as if I took it here in England? Has anyone done this before?

Cheers

Northern Ireland is still, at the time of posting, part of the United Kingdom. I assume that means it would be just the same as taking your test in Wales or Scotland (also, at the time of posting, still part of the UK). One assumes that your entitlement to take your test as a UK citizen extends anywhere within the UK.

This is based on logic, not knowledge - apologies if I’m wrong…
