Can it get any worse - part 2!

Remember the other week when I posted what could go wrong, did go wrong?
Well, last night was the rest of the bits that didnt happen that week
Firstly, could I get under the trailer I was swapping to - no
What was even worse was that the change over driver was stood next to me
Then I (finally) got hitched upto the trailer, on goes the red airline, the 2 electrical lines and the ABS but the yellow airline decided to not play ball and decided to split
The upshot of it was, my Premium got changed for a DAF CF :grimacing:

LOL, time to go back on th ebuses?

If it wernt for bad luck you would have no luck mate.

Why couldn’t you get under it?

I wondered that…

migs69:
Why couldn’t you get under it?

So you’ve never had an off day then?

:open_mouth: Easy Tiger! I was only asking.

I’d say it was a good day, gettin rid of your premium and gettin a daf ! :grimacing:

Please tell us or I won’t be able to sleep tonight

Back side may have got bigger

I bet the other driver dropped it too low and DAF ended up banging his wheel arches and tyres into it. Done that before, stops you sharpish that does

air suspension ? winding handle on trailer legs ? were none of these available ?

i think having a bad day is called getting experience.
so you either learn from it, or you do like many do
jack the driving in. bad days come with the job .
and when the day comes that you spot an issue that might be a problem later for you.
youre getting there to being a driver.

Im going to agree with you there :grimacing:
Unfortunately I had to relinquish the keys to the DAF and back into the Premium
For a unit that had over a million miles on the clock, it pulled well :sunglasses:

glenman:

It was either too low or too high, or it had a pinlock fitted.
