Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but can I drive on a Class 2 pass certificate whilst I wait for my licence to come back from DVLA? Thanks in advance!
Yes , just double check on DVLA web site that it’s on your license

No problem. It doesn’t have to show on DSVA website. Your certificate is enough.

True enough. But for folks driving their own vehicle or moving into driving for a current employer, the pass certificate is often accepted. More importantly, it’s accepted by the enforcement agencies.
But I’m the first to accept that it’s not the way forward if going on the open market for work.

As already said it’s technically acceptable, but a new employer probably won’t be interested in you until it’s stamped on your licence. I drive artic’s on just my certificate, but that was with a current employer I’d been driving VAN’s with, so they knew me!
Best of luck with the job hunt, and don’t be perturbed if you get knocked back until you’ve got it on your licence…
