i need to get information that if a class 1 driver holds his driving licence over ten years then could a class2 learner driver drives his lorry in his presence ?
i am asking just because in car driving if anyone holds over three years old driving licence then they could sit next to a learner driver and tgen learner driver could drive the car legally.
is there is anything like that? could a class2 learner driver able to drive a lorry for learning purposes if class 1 experienced driver sitting next to him. (properly learner insured lorry).

its only relevant if the aforementioned class 1 driver is prepared to demeen himself to be seen sitting with lesser mortals who are not in posession of a similar class 1 licence as he risks ridecule and despisement from fello class 1 gods in rdc stalags,or grubshops. possibly he may wish to wear a parka,crash helmet,duffel coat or balaclava( though this may not be advisable in northen ireland) or possibly just sit holding his face in case he gets recognised.everythings possible so never say never…
thanks for the reply. i have got the provisional class c licence and i have already passed the theory & i have failed the practical test recently on major faults (clipping the kerb once, wrong position) . already got 20 hours training. i asked my trainer for a restest but he is booked for next four weeks so i am thinking if i can ask one of my lgv class 1 driver friend if we could hire a lorry and go for a retest after few hours warm up driving?

Have YOU got a DQC because you need one as well to drive commercially as a learner
