Can i do 1 more reduced daily rest?

Pretty sure the answer is no but

following a full weekly rest my pattern is as follows:

Fri - worked under 13 hours
Sat - worked over 13 hours
sun - off (on rota as weekly rest)
mon - worked over 13 hours
tue - worked over 13 hours.

is my maximum for Wednesday 13 or 15 hours.

in other words, does that odd day off (Sunday) count as a weekly rest so the reduced daily rest tally gets reset?

thanks,

kevin

Assuming Sundays rest was 24 hours or more you have one reduced daily rest period left before your next weekly rest period.

As far as reduced daily rest periods are concerned a weekly rest period, regular or reduced, resets the number of reduced daily rest periods you have available.

The short answer is yes you can have one more reduced daily rest period before your next weekly rest period.

Has nobody learned any thing in this industry.
Let’s reduce rest periods even more. Then all those silly sods can work 24 hours in a day.
What you want is an 8/10 hour day max. Whilst drivers are willing to do these stupid hours for peanuts. We will get these posts all the time. This is the 21st century for gods sake.
Thank god I have retired after 43 years.

Simple son, I gained my licence in 1971. In 1973 i had a mortgage on a house, in long meany gate leyland lancashire. My wife ( died 25 years ago) was at university. So whilst she was at uni I started doing continental work, gained a bit of experience. Then started running to Iran. I finished running to Iran in December 1975. I paid off the mortgage on the house in Leyland. I also bought a house in Heversham Avenue Fulwood Preston. But for cash.
