Can anyone tell me

What is this switch anyone shed some light thank you(one on left)

Diff Lock, when your on a landfill or building site, stop, press it & depress the clutch (if you’ve got one) the drive axle locks & the wheels turn together, hopefully keeping you moving !
When you’re on solid ground, stop & switch it off or you will keep going straight when you don’t expect it, lol, & you’ll wear your tyres out in no time.

Oh ! & don’t drive it like Lewis Hamilton, take it steady, or you’ll knacker the diff.

thought they were my diff locks

Looking at the first photo - Looks like the PTO switch to me.

Steeps

What type of truck is it? Dustcart/hiab/skip etc.
As it’s not diff lock I’d agree with pto (the beacon switch makes me think you’ve got something like a hiab)

Looks like Iveco?
This suggests diff locks too http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-RAV4-XT-R-D-4D-2009-DIFF-LOCK-SWITCH-/370719086687
but confusingly, on my Iveco the diff locks are indeed more like the switches in 2nd photo…

I would have gone with the pto or even 2 to 4 wheel drive , as said depends what kit is fitted to the truck

That’s my pto

It’s a tipper

Is it some sort of axle brake to control your speed downhill?

That’s what I drive too

Pto switch , but the Edbro tipper control has one built in , so the dash switch isn’t used
