Can anyone recommend a free parking spot in DUBLIN?

For a rigid 26t.

In Dublin, you used to be able to park near the docks.

However I preferred to drive out of Dublin, to Toughers truckstop on the far side of Naas.
It’s been quite a few years since I was over in Dublin though.

Park in the port as far as i can recall there wasn’t that many places in Dublin its self,

I think you can park in the port round the back of The Topaz or if you feel wealthy you could park in The Topaz but its a few Euros per hour after the 1st hour IIRC.

Fly sheet

How long do you need to park up for?
I have parked right beside the stenna line building a couple of times for 7-8 hours at a time and no complaints,

Along by the quays opposite the guiness brewery and your only five mins walk from the city but depends what you are looking for and where you are tipping

I’m tipping AT the Guinness Brewery (am there now) and have to hang about till Thursday.

when youre coming out of the dock and get to a roundabout that says exit left, go straight across, (the topaz truckstop is on your right) to the t junc, (where you would turn right for truckstop entrance) turn left, theres usually a few parked up along there, and its a 2 min walk to truckstop.

Wait 4 days !!! how are you going to stay sober?lol

I HAVEN’T stayed sober.

Parked up on Victoria Quay, right near the city centre, and, serendipitously, right opposite the hotel I’ve been put up in.

4 days on the ■■■■ on full pay,plus expenses,plus hotel…for doing NOWT.

Musn’t grumble.

Lifes a ■■■■■ lol

that was place i was on about great only few min s walk from all the night life but wasnt sure of restictions on parking so presume there is none from your post
where u go on the beer too apart from the free guiness in the brewery?

The trick with that topaz garage is if your staying over 24 hours just go to machine press lost ticket option and you only pay for 24 hours. Which is handy if you’ve been camped out there for 4 days

always worth checking that the barrier isnt broke before going in and paying, managed to get a few free nights in there. :sunglasses:

Parked in the Topaz this week ,20 euros for 24 hours, clean, friendly and helpfull staff, food ok but a little dear,Bad point, Noisey, motors in and out all night, Loads of fridge motors , so if you want to sleep don’t bother parking here
