Call the cops

Not much info in the article, driver vs gatehouse?

swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news … f=mrb&lp=7

Maybe the driver was doing some “home deliveries” to the warehouse mans Mrs whilst he was at work

I had a message off an ex work colleague yesterday and he was at that depot and he said it was a 6 hr wait to get tipped (chilled) so maybe a disgruntled driver running short on time.

A slow news day, in Swindon then.

Thought it was normal to have an altercation with someone in there.
Bunch of jumped up, power hungry plebeians.

“Why are you in the wrong lane driver?”

What’s wrong with plebians? I’m a pleb, aren’t you?

the nodding donkey:
“Why are you in the wrong lane driver?”

He sounds like a right obnoxious weasel. I imagine that before he died he was 8 stone of pure snottiness just asking to receive a punch to the face!

That is a first impression that you get. Not sure if that was the intention…

More like a driver on day rate who still had 8 more drops to do before he could go home, I don’t have a problem with swindon or enfield as you can sit in the truck whilst on the bay and never had a problem with the staff there.

You can’t sit in the truck at Swindon when tipping frozen though Weeto. What makes it worse is that you can’t sit in it while waiting the four or five hours it takes to be allocated a bay! Cooped up in a waiting room containing ten chairs and fifteen drivers is certainly not my idea of a fun day out.

Obviously taking your phone number and calling you with a bay number and then sitting in the hospitality suite is way beyond their imaginations.

No, I tipped there a few weeks ago. I was turned away because I was a few hours early (first time there, and yes, I got the “why are you in the wrong lane drive” attitude… (let them get away with that one, after all, it was the first time. …) came back, was coraled in a small room with not enough chairs, all very close together. I don’t do close together very well. And I don’t give a ■■■■.
I got tipped reasonably well. Before I needed to walk out. I then parked up outside their gatehouse to get my next instructions. Which caused one of the gatehouse staff to get out, and tell me that the office had complaint about me being there…

And?

You have to move.

I can’t

You have to move…

I can’t

Why not?

I’m on break.

You can’t take a break here.

I could not take my break in your depot, and now I’m out of hours. I’m on my break…

Security bod ■■■■■ off…
