Call for traffic measures in cul-de-sac after double-decker bus gets 'stuck'

The 231 does not stop at this location where the bus got stuck in the cup-de-sac, why didn’t the driver ask a member of the public to act as a banksman , if nobody was around, I would have simply knocked on a residents door to ask for a help?

I have got in to a tricky position many times, and asked members of the public to be a look out when I’m reversing, not one of them refused to help out and they got quite excited as it took the boredom out of their mundane day, their faces light up when they have a responsibility and a bit of authority to stop traffic or pedestrians.

That’s two members of staff that were dispatched from the company’s head quarters, it seems the stuck driver bottled it for a relief driver being sent out, the chaperone must have been a staff member.

We live in a culdesac , I was gob smacked to see a full size artic delivering turf in our culdesac one day , impressive bit of driving as a van knocked over our concrete post fence one day as he said it was very tight to turn around
