I went through Friday and the Police were marching them away from the port. One gave me the finger because I had the audacity to film it. I’m avoiding Calais from now on. 
Is there a reason why so many of these wagons seem to be completely unsecured? They just seem to be opening the doors and jumping in with ease.
I can only assume it’s on purpose. If you see them climbing in and report it to border patrol when you get to the port, are you off scot free?

Lock the back doors and they will ■■■■■ the curtains or cut open the roof to get in!
Maybe it’s time to have secure trailers with shutters instead of curtains, along with secure back doors and reinforced roof. Will probably reduce the payload but it’s better than having a load scrapped after it’s been peed and crapped on!

I have seen trailers unlocked…and relocked again…Even with container locks on !!!
This is a DAILY event now…and even far more aggravation than this… The driver is on a No win
situation here…as indeed is the owner of the truck.
In fairness…No Driver is paid enough to put up with the crap on a daily basis and in truth no one cares.
Nothing will happen all the while our shops are still full of all the normal goods we use.
You can see now why so many owner drivers and companies choose not to go over the water any longer.

Makes a strong case for everything being moved in containers, its getting beyond a joke, and I notice it has disappeared out of the news lately,probably the government asking their media friends not to rock the boat as they don’t have a clues how to address the problem.

Would probably work but with todays left wing hand wringers the owner and driver would probably get sued by any who cut themselves on it 
Ifor what it’s worth, I would gas the trailer every time I get to calais…
Send several convoys of containers up there over the course of a day with unlocked back doors, containing nothing but a handy few pallets of food supplies, let them all pile in and through customs.
Drive to nearest container port and unload containers onto next boat to the arse end of Africa.

get some speed up when you can, wait for about 6 or 7 to be running behind you then handbrake stop then wait for the thuds as they hit the back of the trailer 
I don’t understand why the French allow this to even happen. They’re not fleeing persecution at all, if they were just desperate to escape Syria, Algeria or wherever they’ve come from then they’d stop at the first safe haven, Britain is several stops past the first safe country so that excuse doesn’t wash.

The French wouldn’t allow it to happen anywhere they didn’t want it to.If it was somewhere in the interior like east or south east France the CRS or Gendarmerie would kick the zb out of them ( or worse ) because the French don’t go by the idea of Brit type political correctness.Which is why the ‘asylum seekers’ don’t want to stay in France.
While the French are just going by the idea that if the PC Brits want them then let the Brits take them and the best way to do that is to turn Calais into a transit camp on the basis of better there where they can get them out of the country ASAP than anywhere else.
