While I agree with the need for an inquiry into what is happening in Calais think it is a bit rich for the RHA to suddenly pop up as the drivers champion, there have been plenty of problems affecting drivers over the last 10 years yet the RHA has been nowhere to be seen on them. Call me cynical but could it be that because Calais is in the national news that the RHA has seen the opportunity for a bit of publicity, a previous boss of mine told me the only time he ever heard from the RHA was a month before his subscriptions were due.
Agree with you Ex Boss Mazzer on that one… A complete and utter waste of money even subscribing to them as they are toothless. Saw parts of the RHS fella putting the case to the Parliamentary Select Committee and my god I have never seen less passion in a man representing the views of the haulage industry.
I truly doubt if he has ever been in a truck… let alone to Calais in one.

The same government ‘select committee’ who’s immigration policy is attracting the immigrants in question.

There are without a doubt thousands of them here already that aren’t on any data base and not in the system, only if discovered by UKBA do they claim to be fleeing persecution they don’t have any id as they have destroyed it as soon they landed on English soil so they cannot be deported, amongst them there could be members of isis or other radical extremists we simply do not as yet know
But what we do know is that none of then should be here,all should be deported

To be fair the socialists are as,if not more,keen on them being here as the Cons.While there is more of a link between the cheap labour agenda and Communism than Capitalism.IE whatever system this is that we’re living under,is anyone’s guess.But what is certain is that it ain’t Capitalism or at least the Fordist version.
