DUE TO THE OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES AND THE SEVERE WEATHER WARNING CUSTOMERS MUST CONTACT THE PORT OF DOVER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO SHIP ANY LIVE ANIMALS

******** CALAIS UPDATE — 1730 HRS — 23nd FEBRUARY

DOVER — CALAIS Berth 8 is now operational in Calais following its withdrawal for safety checks at the end of last week. There are now 3 berths in use, and this should mean that the situation is much improved from last week. At the moment there is no Operation Stack for ferry traffic, and no delays in the port of Dover. However, the crossing between Dover and Calais is still taking longer than the usual 90 minutes as some of the ships have to wait outside Calais for a berth to become available, so please be prepared for a longer transit time between the two ports.

CALAIS — DOVER There is currently very little delays in the Calais, and traffic is flowing freely through the port.
