You should of taken a photograph of it. The local council will be responsible for ensuring the meet the requirments of the H&S at work, i’m sure they would of been delighted to go check it out for yu and see if it was compliant.

I dont know why more drivers dont just sneak off to the truck and hide on the bunk. If caught tell them you aint sitting in that joke of a room and if they are half way through unloading they wont put it back. I have seen loads of blokes in asda’s and tesco’s yards sitting in cabs on a red light. Instead of kicking off they just vanish until they have a green light, seems simple enough to me.

This type of treatment of drivers really is taking the ■■■■.

How about some of the shop stewards here getting onto the union chiefs, and kicking up a stink about this, unless all drivers stick together united this type of treatment will continue.

Affected drivers could write to their union general secretary too detailing each event CCing in their shop steward if they have one, mentioning basic human rights and discrimination by profession.

Bombard the sods with complaints and force them to take action, moaning will never do any good, only when its in writing will anyone take notice.

A few letters to the tabloids might be handy too with a few phone pics to stir the pot, the bloody supermarkets won’t like that in the daily wail headlines…drivers caged at Asda.

Take a folding Chair with you and seat in the Sun

What’s wrong with Amazon Doncaster? You drop your trailer on a bay and park up opposite. Sit for an hour and the chap comes out removes the trailer support and wheel chocks. Waits for you to couple up then winds your legs for you.

If we keep floating idea it might catch on one day, pigs’ll do a fly past too… :unamused:

The trouble is everybody moans but nobody complains because when you complain or refuse to do something your viewed as being the awkward one…I’ve started a self obsessed refuse & complain campaign in my work after recent treatment, it will go one way or the other , things will either be done as they should or I will be out of work, the latter will be an interesting scenario , but I’m not putting up with it any longer, defects will be rectified straight away, hours will be kept to and loads will be at or below the legal weights or the truck does not move , this policy has been in force for about a week and a half and yes I am now the awkward, lazy, c u Next Tuesday that doesn’t want to do anything ! This is far from it, I will do it but legally…
