i have not shipped for a few years and have a possible trip to le mans shipping out to caen could any one tell me can you still use the n158 to falaise then the a88 to sees please,if you can i remember there being a low bridge on that road i think near to sees would anyone happpen to know the height please thank you
yes you head for falaise, no need to worry about bridge at sees as you can get on autoroute before it, i think it’s marked up at 4.0 metres,you have 4.3 on caen ring but is marked 4.15 if in doubt go anti clock around ring and you miss it

The bridge warning at 4.15m is only in the outside lane. All our trailers were between 4.2 and 4.3 and I have been under that with a 3CX poking out of the top

I used to go down that way quite often so that picture brings back some memories, here we go again, into another nostalgia trip!!

I used to reguarly take a fridge on a 3 axle unit (so the front sat up just that little bit) under the Sees bridge which is marked at 4 metres.

Its motorway all the wat through now to the a28.you miss out argentan its 10euros from falaise to the top of sees were you meet the A28.
