Heard today that the main man, Jim Macaulay has passed away. Never met him, but he was a well known and liked man as far as I know.
RIP.
Was always a company I fancied working for, you see their trucks and some of the stuff they cart about and you’re like offfft I’d love a shot of that

I am truly saddened to hear of the passing of Jim Macauley . never a man to hold back his views, he was a strong advocate for the heavy haulage industry, well respected by his peers and deserverdly so. The industry will miss his forthright ways and be a much lesser place without him. If there is ever a heavy haulage hall of fame then one of the first names to be entered will surely be Jims… RIP
