Is it just me or as cabs have got bigger, we carry more useless junk in them? I’m not talking bling but general crap such as company rules in folders, old newspapers, hand shandy mags, old phone chargers, etc…

You’re forgetting the brown and black banana skin fermenting in the door pocket. And the costa coffee cup with brown sludge in it. And on one occasion, a hard boiled egg.

I keep mine tidy so when a tipper cuts me up, the crap doesn’t fly all over the place

Mines mostly old newspapers and food wrappers,old bottles but i try keep on top of it like once a month.
Totally agree, years ago I used to do euro work in an old F10 with a standard non globetrotter roof (it wasnt old then BTW). Had every thing I needed stashed away somewhere (mostly under the bunk which was a huge space) but nowadays i have maybe 2 or at most 3 nights away in a MAN TGAXXL and have got that much crap its unbeleivable.
Recently had a clearout and found…
Tin of drawing pins (god knows what i thought i needed them for)
Empty sweet tins (kept to put stuff in…never did)
A 1988 edition of Manchester A-Z (with the M63 on it !)
Various books, magazines and leaflets (all read several times)
3 copies of Defra and UKASS regulations
several blown bulbs and fuses
Plus all manner of bits and peices that Ive kept for years and never needed.
On the plus side I did find…
Spare red airline and electric suzie I didnt know I had
Spare mirror glass (not an MAN one but good enough in an emergency with duct tape
and about £8 in change
I dont carry anything with me other then a Bottle Drink ans some Food i buy at Store.Sometimes i get me a few Apples from Automat in Driver Room.
But i may have to get me a SatNav with new Contract. thinking on a used one as i will know Shops after few Month,and we get Direction from Office too.
Company-Rules?
Thats on my table next to Computer with Coffee Cup on it,and every Time the Top Page is Dirty it gets put in the Bin.So is it always nice,and till the Paperwork is used im getting by sure a new one
